MRU->HDU: I cannot reproduce this on our Mac-mini. But have you already seen such a problem? Maybe it is related to issue 89844 or issue 89545.
I haven't seen anything like this and cannot reproduce either => back to QA @vo1d: Is this the Aqua port or the X11 port? Are you sure this is OOo30beta2?
@hdu: positively Aqua port, OOo30beta2. Didn't notice the problem with beta 1. Font alignment problem varies with zoom level (see attachment).

@vo1d: on which version of OSX? Can you also attach a simple bugdoc?

I still cannot reproduce it... @macport: can you guys reproduce the problem shown in the image inside the bugdoc? (caveat: that image inside the bugdoc is just an image, not actual text)
MRU->vo1d: do you still have the problem with OOo 3.0.1 or 3.1 RC?
I've used NeoOffice ever since because of the superior font rendering. However, I just downloaded OOo 3.1 RC1, opened the document that originally showed the vertical-alignment problem, and it's OK now. (Font still looks better in NeoOffice, though).

The vertical font alignment problem just reappeard--with a different document on a different iMac running MacOS 10.5.6. I submitted document in question and a screenshot of what it looks like on my Mac.
Text in test document scales perfectly aligned in 3.1.1 (OS 10.5.8)
Closing issue.
